Review the materials concerning privacy and encryption. You will write a memo that links the two topics, proposes a policy and provides a justification.

You should be some what imaginative in this memo. Consider that I have given you the task of specifying a policy for the company on the issues of privacy and encryption. You will need to provide reasons for your proposed policy. As to the nature of the company or the project that is the focus of the memo, use your imagination.

Your memo should be no longer than two pages. Each memo must contain at least one reference to the text, one web reference and one reference to the ACM code. These must be three distinct references. For example, a reference to the ACM code in the text and on the web counts as one reference, not three.

Your memo should be in standard memo format. You may wish to examine the materials at the UAH writing Center (http://www.uah.edu/writing/) and at the Purdue University Writing Center (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/pw/p_memo.html )

Your memo should clearly mark the following four things:
A brief discussion of the problem
The proposed policy to aid in the solution of the problem
The justification of the policy
The references.
